Therapy for Children, Adolescents and Adults

1434 Third Street, Suite #3A & #2B
Napa, California 94559

Gena Kilgore, MA is a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and has joined my private practice! This is such a wonderful thing for the Napa community as there are so many children and adolescents who have been struggling and in need of support.

Gena comes into my practice with a wealth of experience and a strong desire to work with children, adolescents, families and adults. She holds a BS in Child Development from San Diego State University as well as a MA in Counseling Sonoma State University. Gena is a California Board of Behavioral Science Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She also completed the University of California Davis CPE Infant-Parent Mental Health Post-Graduate Fellowship Program (formerly affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Boston) in 2013. Gena's counseling training relates to services across the lifespan, however, she has extensive training and experience working with children from birth through age ten, including working with and supporting children, parents, families and providers in elementary schools, early childhood education centers, early intervention programs, and home settings. Gena has a deep respect and appreciation for the challenges associated with navigating a child's developmental journey and life transitions, while also scaffolding a healthy, loving, and functional trajectory for the family system as a whole. She believes that a young child’s behavioral health and social-emotional development influences all aspects of their lifelong development, health, and wellbeing.

Gena also has an office in Santa Rosa, CA and is available for Tele-Health appointments.
